EXPLANATION AND ELABORATION (E&E) PUBLICATIONS
Explanation and Elaboration documents (E&E) are designed to support authors in the use of the reporting guidelines by providing representative examples of high-quality reporting of guideline items, followed by analysis of each item, and consideration of the features of the chosen example that are consistent with the item’s intent.
SQuIRE 2.0 E&E
The SQuIRE 2.0 E&E provides additional guidance to authors following SQuIRE 2.0. Contributors to this document come from a variety of disciplines and professional backgrounds, reflecting a wide range of knowledge and experience in healthcare systems in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.

SQuIRE-EDU E&E
The SQuIRE-EDU authors developed an E&E table to complement the SQuIRE-EDU Checklist. The table provides examples for each guideline item and accompanying comments.
